The bannock is a dietary staple of many of the First Peoples of Turtle Island. It comes in different shapes and sizes, fried or baked and, in this case, baked and enhanced with the boreal vanilla from the tiny white flowers of the sweet clover.

Granola Miinishkâw meaning abundance of fruit is granola that offers a beautiful variety of wild Canadian berries including, sea buckthorn, lingonberry, haskap berries, & saskatoon berries. Spiced with handpicked dune pepper spice & sweet clover, as well as sweetened with birch syrup this granola will send your palette on a journey through the berry bushes. Sweetened naturally with birch syrup, no added salt, no preservatives!

A take on the classic #BlackForest cake, this one will really take you back to the forest, 70% dark chocolate génoise soaked in pine syrup, balsam Fir buttercream, Wild Canadian Elderberry compote. Inspired by my travels in the Saguenay where you are surrounded by the scent of the pine. The "Montagnais" Innu people would travel up to the Saguenay and call the area "Ashuapmushuan" meaning "where we see the moose".

POTIMARRON SQUASH AND DUNE PEPPER SPICE CAKE

Inspired by the three sisters, this Squash & Dune Pepper Spice Cake reminds us of the agricultural knowledge of our Indigenous ancestors as squash was an integral part of their nutrition. Savor the Dune Pepper Spice as we call it the Chai of the North. Topped with a balsam fir buttercream and generous sprinkling of pepitas.
